Grandma Ideas Second Giveaway

Here it is folks!  Another give away!

Sarah, who works for a public relation agency that represents various children’s products, contacted me and asked if I would be interested in doing a give away.  Boy, would I!  I thought her offer was absolutely wonderful.

So, today’s give away is the PLAY-DOH Poppin’ Movie Snacks playset. Your grandchildren can create fun “snacks” from their very own movie theater concession stand.  They can crank out a bucket of realistic-looking popcorn or create colorful “candy” or a “hot dog” or “french fries” or “ice cream” treats.  Yum!  They can even mold out a movie ticket.

The set includes a movie theater themed playmat, four 2-ounce cans and one 5-ounce can of PLAY-DOH.  It is for children ages 3 years & up.  (The approximate retail price is $12.99 and is vailable at most major toy retailers nationwide and on HasbroToyShop.com.)

Our children loved PLAY-DOH.  (So did I.  I still do!)  I think PLAY-DOH is a ‘must have’ to help children build creativity and imagination.  And, I think this playset will provide hours of fun for you and your grandchild as you make and “eat” your movie treats and pretend to watch a movie you while you “eating” your treats.

So here’s the deal.  Post a comment here about your memories of PLAY-DOH.  Or an activity using PLAY-DOH that you have done with your children.  Or just any old comment will do (as long as it’s respectful and uses clean language).  You have until midnight Friday night, May 7, to post a comment.

I will use randomizer.org to select a winner.  I will post the winner’s name on Saturday, May 8.  I will contact the winner to get mailing information so that Sarah can send you the playset.

To increase your grandchild’s chance of winning, tell all of your daughters and daughters-in-law to post a comment.  Have your sons and sons-in-law post a comment.  Have your grandchild’s  favorite aunt post a comment.  The more comments from your family gives you grandchild more chances of winning!

I think Grandpa and I will go rent a video and eat some popcorn and some candy — the REAL kind (not the PLAY-DOH version!).
