The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to look back and reflect on the previous year.
Last year, we traveled to some lovely places — on our Caribbean cruise for instance. But our trip to Yellowstone was a bust. There was a blizzard (in the middle of September!) and Yellowstone was closed!
Our daughter had a baby boy. Huzzah for a new grandson! We now have 5 grandsons and 5 granddaughters. Isn’t that perfect?
We had a wonderful family reunion at Bear Lake, Utah. Everyone loves that place!
I read some terrific books: Code Name Verity, The Light Between Oceans, Me Before You, The Last Stand of the Tin Can Soldiers.
Of course there were some not so good times, some normal times (whatever normal is), and some boring times. (I can’t say that cleaning the toilets in my home is an adrenalin pumping activity . . .)
Now. On to the top 10 posts for 2017.
This is a super easy edging to make on a fleece baby blanket. (This was the third most popular post last year.)
It’s not the link party that was so popular on this post. It was the free cow mask. (Chick-fil-a has a cow appreciation day on July 12 and if you go to one of their restaurants wearing cow apparel you get free food.)
This is a family favorite at Christmas time. And like the title says, it’s easy to make!
This was my favorite game when I was in college. It’s great for tweens, teens, and adults. (This was the second most popular post last year . . .)
I think this is popular because Cub Scout leaders download the patterns so much!
Everybody love playing this because the players get candy bars! (This was the tenth most popular post last year.)
This download has 6 different word searches that are great for kids.
This is a great outdoor game that gets kids moving and having fun! (This was the fourth most popular post last year.)
These cute monsters make playing Bingo fun!
This is an easy game to learn and fun to play with the family.
