Easiest Valentine Ever

When you trace around your hand, what holiday comes to mind?  Thanksgiving and making a turkey?  That’s what I thought.

I’m about to change your perception. You can make a stinkin’ cute Valentine when you trace around your hand. And it’s about the easiest Valentine that you can ever make — well . . . next to just cutting out a regular heart.

All you need is a piece of paper, a pencil and some scissors.

Oh, and of course you hand. (In the following pictures, please disregard the wrinkles in my tablecloth. I was too lazy to iron it. Too lazy to retake the pictures with another one. Too inept to correct it in Photoshop.)

This is the easiest ever Valentine to make.

Fold your paper in halve. Place your hand on the paper with your thumb sticking over the edge of the fold. Trace around you hand.

Cut around your fingers and voilá! You have a clever Valentine to give to your grandchildren.

You might want to trim around the ‘heart’ of your Valentine to make it look nice.

Wasn’t that easy? It probably took you, what, a total of 2 minutes? That’s my kind of activity!

You can gather your grand kiddos and make a grundle of these Valentines that they can give to friends and family.

Of you can make them and mail them to your grandchildren. It’s always fun for grandchildren to get something in the mail from grandma.

You could write a letter to your grandchildren and have the words wind in and around the finger. That would make it a fun Valentine letter.

Hope you have as much fun making these as I did!
