I know that some people do not like Halloween and the darker side of the holiday.
Me? My favorite colors are yellow and orange so how could I not like Halloween? October is my birthday month – so by association how could I not like Halloween? I’m witchy so how could I not like Halloween?
Of course I like the playful side rather than the evilness that is sometimes associated with it. So, it is with great pleasure that I share some snacks and treats that would be extremely easy to make with grandchildren and fun to make and eat.
I found these ideas on Little Nummies. (She likes to create healthy lunches and snacks for her daughters. If you go there today, you’ll see her darling tedddy bear, pirate, and squirrel sandwiches!)
- Werewolf Paw Sandwich (You could also use this idea and make werewolf paw cookies.)
- Monsters on a Stick (Be sure to scroll down the page to see her other great ideas.)
- Eyeball Platter
- Vampire Sandwich
- Jack-o-lantern Sandwich
- Crescent Spiders
Here’s to having a lighthearted and fun Halloween!
