Nutcracker Ballet DVD Giveaway

See my Nutcracker DVD give away.I love the music from The Nutcracker — and especially like playing it during the Christmas season.

One day, when our youngest son was little, he asked to listen to the ‘Graham Cracker Suite.’ (He really meant the Nutcracker Suite.) Wasn’t that cute?

Well, do you who enjoy The Nutcracker?

Do you have a granddaughter between the ages of 3 to 6?

Does she like to dance?

Do you like getting free things?

Then, have I got a giveaway for you.

I will be giving away the DVD of Prima Princessa Presents The Nutcracker.

Prima Princessa presents The NutcrackerThis Parent’s Choice Award winning Christmas show has aired on more than 400 PBS and Public Television stations nationwide. Wowza! That really says alot for this show.

The cartoon fairy, Prima Princessa, takes you on a magical adventure to see a live performance of the Nutcracker, featuring England’s Birmingham Royal Ballet.

It’s a super easy way for small grandchildren to experience a real ballet without having to sit still through the whole performance (which could be a challenge for a young grandchild).

Prima Princessa does a fabulous job at narrating the story so kids can understand the plot.

Between acts, she gives viewers mini-ballet lessons from students at the School of American Ballet, the official academy of the New York City Ballet. She also encourages viewers to get up and try out the ballet steps. It almost had me up and doing the steps — and wouldn’t THAT be a sight to see!

I really enjoyed watching this DVD — and I’m sure that little girls would love it, too. Especially if they had their own tutu and possibly even some ballet slippers.

This would make a wonderful Christmas present for a granddaughter. It could also be a wonderful birthday present.

Or, you could keep it at your house and watch it when your granddaughters come over — and even have a little ballet party. That would be an activity that they would remember with fondness!

To enter the giveaway, simply post a comment and share the name of your favorite Christmas song.

The drawing will end at midnight on November 16. I will announce the winner on November 17.

I love the song It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas. We got a skiff of snow last night and now I’m starting to get into the Christmas mood.

I love Christmas music, I have 3 binders full of music that we sing around the piano. “Angels We Have Heard On High” and “Have Yourself and Merry LIttle Christmas” are two of my favorites. My girls love the Nutcracker CD and we love to clean house to the music during the Christmas season.

It’s a toss up between Little Drummer Boy and White Christmas. But then I enjoy all of the music.

I have taken my granddaughter to see a ballet school present the nutcracker every year. It’s shorten and she loves to see the children performing. This would be a wonderful christmas gift!
My favorite Christmas song…..probably Jungle Bells. It’s the 1st song all kids learn, then learn updated kids version.
    Happy Holidays!

I too like the Nutcracker ballet. It was a tradition for many years in our home to start the holiday off by going to see the ballet at our local university.

My favorite Christmas song is “Do You Hear What I Hear?”

Silver Bells!! I learned how to play that on the piano when I was in grade school (a simplified version of course) and I thought I was such a magnificent piano player to be able to play such a beautiful song.
