I learned something recently. And it was something that I didn’t particularly want to learn.
A couple of weeks ago I went to the dentist.
No cavities. Wahoo!
Here’s what I learned.
Those silver fillings from days of yore. Those that I’ve had in my teeth since the Mesozoic Era.
Those silver fillings expand. That’s what I learned. Who knew.
I also learned something else. When they expand, they crack your teeth. Who knew.
So, even though I didn’t have cavities, I had to have 2 of those silver fillings replaced because they were cracking my old teeth.
Moments ago, I got back from the dentist. My upper lip is numb. I feel like my lip is a mile wide. And that I look grotesque.
Don’t we love going to the dentist?
Beware! If you have silver fillings, you just might have them replaced with white ones!
Enough talking about dentists, fillings, and teeth. Let’s party!
My first feature are these delightful candles by Handan from the Navage Patch. The candles have antique world maps Mod Podged onto them. She shares the maps so its really easy to make the candles. I think they are fantastic! Tween and teen granddaughters would LOVE making a whole flock of them!
My next feature are these scrumptious Caramel Chocolate Chip Butter Bars by Andrea on Living on Cloud Nine. (As soon as I’m through here, I’m heading to the kitchen to make some of these yummy bars. Then, I’ll be living on cloud nine, too!) And, take a moment to read the About page. She and her husband have a unique story that I have never heard of before!!!
