I haven’t been home much lately.
We’ve stayed in St. George for almost a week so that we could enjoy the plays at the outdoor theater, the Tuacahn.
We’ve had our annual family reunion at Bear Lake, Utah. (Oh the fun that we had there!)
And yesterday and today, I was in Vernal, Utah, attending my cousin’s funeral.
I can almost say that I’m ready to stay home for a while.
While I’m almost ready to stay put, I am DEFINITELY ready to party in my PJs! How about you?
My first feature is this darling braided fabric necklace from Katie at The Crafty Blog Stalker. Tween and teen granddaughters (and even Grandma!) would have great fun making one or two of these necklaces. And, if you are a sewer, this is the perfect way to use up scraps of your material.
My second feature are these Greek theater masks from Highhill Education. I liked these masks for several reasons. First, because the kids made really fun masks. (I especially liked the one with the heart-shaped cheeks!) And because doing a Greek theater with my grandkids never crossed my mind. It’s a terrific idea. It’s now on my list. And, because the explanation about the video at the end of the post was a hoot.
I would have thought that your grandkids needed to be tweens or teens to do a Greek theater. But from the looks of it, even fairly young kids can get in on the acting, too!
