Before I get down to partying with you fine folks, I would like to let everyone know that I’m holding a giveaway for a clever and cute children’s book.
The book is Chicken Soup, Chicken Soup. It’s about a girl who has a Jewish grandmother and a Chinese one.
Both grandmothers have a tradition of making chicken soup and they are subtly competing against each other — and their granddaughter is caught in the middle.
The granddaughter comes up with a clever solution — and brings understanding to the family.
To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment on that post. The giveaway goes through November 30 at midnight.
My first feature is this absolutely darling cellphone case by Katie over at The Crafty Blog Stalker. This would be a terrific activity to do with a granddaughter who had a phone. Whe would absolutely love this!
My second feature are these creative glitter ornaments made out of a toilet paper tube! Wesens-Art is so clever, clever! Start saving your toilet paper rolls now (if you aren’t already!) so you can make some with your grandkids.
