Today’s word of the day: pluvious.
Pluvious is an adjective that means rainy.
Before I get to my first feature, I want to briefly mention my last post which was a Word of the Day. (It’s a cool word. Trust me!) I briefly talk about doing random acts of kindness. That is such a wonderful activity to do with grandchildren.
And that brings me to my first feature. Jenni from Little Girl Designs shared a wonderful post about Paying it Forward. She encourages us to write letters of encouragement and of thanks over the next 5 days. What a wonderful thing to do with grandkids. If your grandkids won’t be around this week, you can always do this activity when they are. What a great way for them to spread a little bit of kindness and happiness!
My next feature is from Cheryl at Sew Can Do. She shares the 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge. I loved this idea because sewing a pillowcase is an east-to-do project with grandchildren. And, it’s yet another way to help grandkids think of others who are less fortunate. Your grandkids could make a pillowcase for themselves and a couple for the pillowcase challenge!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas. Don’t forget to grab our “featured on Party in Your PJs Link Party” button and share on your site!
