As many of you know, I work at a university.
Last week was finals.
Then came graduation.
I am responsible for all of the AV for our College’s convocation. Plus a few other details like lights at the speaker’s podium, making sure the risers are all even and level, that the lights don’t glare in the eyes of those on the stand, that all of the cords are taped down. Random things like that.
I’m SO glad that the convocation is over. It’s stressful. But, I’m happy to report that all went well! Phew.
I am SO ready to party in my pjs. How about you?
These lemon drop chess squares are my first feature. They are by Leslie at Lamberts Lately. They look so easy to make. I think your tweens and teen grandchildren would love making them — and EVERYBODY would love eating them!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas!

Once again, thank you so much for everyone that participated!
I invite you to join our group board on Pinterst. Simply follow Kim on Pinterest, and ask for an invite. Then you can share all your wonderful projects on our board.
The rules for the group board include:
- Limit of one pin a day.
- Just like the party, anything goes but clear, wonderful pictures with great descriptions are most successful.
- Please no spam (spammers will be deleted without warning).
- If you pin to the party board, please link to the party also. Party is live from Tuesday 7 p.m. Central time through Sunday at midnight.
- Finally, have fun and share this group with blog friends and your followers! The more success the group board is the more success you will see from your pins!
The great part is that each link gets posted to our Party Pinterest board.
Make sure you follow it so you have another chance to check out the awesome projects linked up.
