Party in Your PJs #159

Party in your PJs is a Tuesday evening link party that starts at 7:00 p.m. (Mountain time) through Sunday night at midnight. Come and join in the fun!

I am not a very patient person.

Especially when I’m waiting for warm weather to come.

I’ve been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for spring weather to come to my neck of the woods.

But we have had weeks of overcast, chilly, and rainy weather.

You’d think that we lived in Seattle.

We don’t! We live in a semi-desert! What’s up with all of this rain, huh?

I know we need it so that we won’t have a drought. (Which is our normal condition.) I would just like to have weather that is in the mid-70s for about a month before temperatures soar to 100 degrees! (Like I’m afraid it will.)

Well. Enough about my impatience! Let’s get this show on the road.

My first feature is this fun toad abode by Mindie over at The (mis)Adventures of a “Born Again” Farm Girl. Drawing on a house on a terra cotta pot would be great fun for grandkids to do. Your grandkids might not have toads living nearby, but this abode would be a cute addition to any garden!

This toad abode was featured at the link party Party in Your PJs.

I think I was smitten by ‘houses’ when I picked my features. My next one is this cute patriotic birdhouse by Julie over at Cut Off in the Keweenaw. This would be a great craft for grandkids to make for Memorial Day, Flag Day, or the 4th of July.

You might not have the same style birdhouse as Julie has. But I think the ones that you get at the craft store would work just as well! I saw some a couple of weeks ago at my local Joann’s store.

This patriotic bird house was featured at the link party Party in Your PJs.

Thank you so much Mindie and Julie for sharing your wonderful ideas!

Each of the hosts for Party in Your PJs selects their own features so head over to the other hosts’ sites to see if you were featured! Check them out here:

Hey! Thanks, Nina, for featuring my patriotic birdhouse! It’s very much appreciated. I look forward to finding some great posts through this link party this evening! Oh, and your granddaughters are adorable. They must be loving those zipper bracelets made with Grandma!
