However, this week, I decided that I really didn’t have to go to the canyon to see gorgeous fall colors. They are right in my yard.
I have a burning bush that is an absolutely stunning red.
I have some sugar maple trees that are brilliant orange.
I have quakies that are a delightful yellow.
I have ornamental pear trees that are turning a glorious orange.
I have a Virginia creeper vine that is turning deep, deep red.
Then, I have a maple tree that is thinking about turning orange. (I think it’s acting like a stubborn two year old that doesn’t want to do what she’s supposed to do!) I suppose someday that it might turn the bright orange that the leaves are supposed to do in the fall . . .
Let’s take a look, my friends, at this week’s features.
First, Lisa from Grandma Briefs has shared 12 crafts for grandmothers and others. I love the family photo frame and her pillow chaise. Both are so clever! You could make these crafts WITH your grandkids or you could make them FOR your grandkids. You’ve got to check out everything that she has shared!!
My next feature is from Chas at Chas’ Crazy Creations. It’s a flower pot turned solar pumpkin. Another clever idea! You and your grandkids can make some to line your sidewalks on Halloween night! They are so easy to make!
Thank you so much Lisa and Chas for sharing your wonderful ideas! You are terrific!
Each of the hosts for Party in Your PJs selects their own features so head over to the other hosts’ sites to see if you were featured! Check them out here:
