Got great plans for the day? (I headed up to Salt Lake City this morning to get my longarm quilting machine back from the repair shop . . . not exactly a Halloween activity but I’ll be glad to get it back!)
Will your grandkids be coming over to trick or treat and to show you their costumes?
Or, will you (after all of the trick or treaters have stopped ringing your doorbell) hunker down to watch a spooky movie and gobble down your leftover candy? (Yes, indeedy, I already have my eye on that candy!)
My first feature is Lisa at Hoopla Palooza. She shared how to make some monster fudge. I know today is Halloween. I know that you might not have a chance to make some of this fudge with your grandkids. But, please tuck this idea away in a safe place where you won’t forget it so that you can make some next year!
My next feature is from larr over at Feathering My Empty Nest. She shared the magical Chinese lantern festival that is held in a botanical garden in Belmont, North Carolina. Oh my! Let me say that again. Oh my!
This festival looks stunning! You ought to put this on your bucket list as a place to visit! I know it’s on my list!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas! All of you — even if you weren’t featured!
