Lots of turkey? Mashed potatoes and gravy? And pies, pies, pies?
We had a delightful time. We didn’t have many come over but were so grateful for those that did!
All of the food was yummy and we enjoyed visiting, playing, and crafting together.
And now it’s time to look toward Christmas.
Earlier today, I asked my husband what he thought about getting new LED lights to go on the shrubs outside. And then I paused. I had forgotten that he had taken all of the shrubs out earlier this year. Guess we don’t need to get new lights since we don’t have shrubs anymore. (I think I might get new ones to go around the windows though! Shhh. Don’t tell him . . .)
Are you ready now for our link party?
My first feature is from Claire at Pillar Box Blue. She shared how to take tin cans that you might have hanging around your home from things like Danish Cookies and turn them into a beautiful faux marble upcycled canister! Your grandkids could put Christmas presents in them to give away or treats that they would like to give to a friend. Or, keep for themselves!
My second feature isn’t something that you can do with your grandchildren. It’s something FOR them. Kari from A Grace Full Life shared how to put together an inexpensive nail kit from the Dollar Store to give to a tween or teen. I’m absolutely positive that your granddaughters would LOVE this as a Christmas present! Not only is it fun for them, it’s easy on grandma’s pocketbook. Wahoo!
Thank you so much Clair and Kari for sharing your wonderful ideas!
