Our tree is up — and finally decorated.
Our Christmas decorations are up. (I still need to put away the boxes . . .)
My seven nativity sets are up. One is a plaster of Paris set that I made the first Christmas we were married — and poor.
Another one is a white porcelain one that I made. I added small touches of gold on the different pieces and I think the set is gorgeous!
I found a set (in a local museum) that looks like pewter. I have a set from the Philippines that our oldest son got for us. We also have one that we got in Germany a couple of years ago. I plan on getting another nativity set when we go to Morocco in March!
Can you tell that I love nativity sets??
Now I just need to finish the shopping and baking and sending out Christmas cards!
Okay. Let’s check out my features from last week’s party.
These easy snowmen candles are my first feature from Chas’ Crazy Creation. I love how she put a green scarf around one of them. Your grandkids could make a whole flock of these candles they are so easy to make!
I love this Christmas banner from Heidi over at Building Our Hive. Your tween and teen granddaughters would really enjoy making one of these for their bedroom. It would add some holiday cheer there. (They could also make another one for somewhere else in their home if they wanted to.)
Both of these would be super easy (and inexpensive) to make at a family Christmas party — or individually with your grandchildren. Spending time with grandkids and family is the best part of Christmas!
Thank you so much Chas and Heidi for sharing your wonderful ideas!
