As I thought about retirement, I thought about our Utah winters. Cold. Snow. Gray days.
I decided that we needed to spend January and February someplace warmer. With sunshine. So that we could apricate (my favorite verb that means to bask in the sun).
I told my husband that we should go to Florida. “You don’t have to shovel sunshine,” I told my husband — meaning we have to shovel snow in Utah but we wouldn’t have to shovel sunshine if we were staying in Florida.
So, we left Utah for Florida last week.
We’ve been traveling, sightseeing, and freezing. The weather along the way has been cold — like 23 degrees cold. The weather in Utah has been warm. Like in the 50s.
Because we’re traveling, I haven’t had the chance to look at what was shared in our last link party. So, I won’t have any features this week. I will have them next week.
So, pop on over to check out the features at the other hosts’ sites!
