Now that I am retired, I decided that we didn’t have to spend the cold winters in Utah. We could go somewhere warm.
So we decided to spend some time in Florida.
Funny thing, they say that this is the coldest winter that they’ve had in years! Rats . . .
One of the things that I miss is being able to do Valentine activities with my grandchildren. (In fact, I miss doing ANYTHING with them!)
To make up for it, I sent them a box in the mail with a Valentine surprise and treat in it. I guess I have to accept that all I can do is send my love through the mail . . .
Are you ready to party??
My features this week are a tad different than usual. My first one is this fishtail braid tutorial from Drugstore Divas. This is different because this isn’t a craft, activity, or recipe that you can do with your grandkids. This is something that you can do TO a granddaughter! If you have one with long hair, she might enjoy you braiding her hair like this! It looks so pretty!
My next feature isn’t a craft, recipe, or activity that you can do with your grandchildren. It’s something that you can do FOR them! Teresa over at Keeping it Real, My Crafty World shares a free Valentine printable. You can print this up, put in a white, pink, or red frame, and give it to a grandchild to put in her room. (Of course you can print it up and use as part of YOUR Valentine decor, too.) I think this is so pretty!
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas!
