Party in Your PJs #106

Party in your PJs is a Tuesday evening link party that starts at 7:00 p.m. (Mountain time) through Sunday night at midnight. Come and join in the fun!We had a family party Saturday to celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday, my husband’s birthday, my mother’s birthday, and Mother’s Day.

We had a great time!

I had been saving oatmeal containers for a LONG time so I took them to our party. The grandkids drew designs on them with markers and I gave them ‘drum sticks’ (round wooden beads glued on the end of a dowel stick) and we drummed rhythms.

Boy was it a LOUD activity! It was cute to see one of our grandsons haul his drum under his arm for the rest of the evening.

Ready to party? Great!

This Week’s Features

My first feature is the fabric flower from Amy at Country Mouse City Spouse. I think teen granddaughters would love making these with their grandmother. They could use the flower to embellish a purse, hat, jacket, or put on a magnet to use in their locker at school.

This was a feature at the Party in Your PJs link party.

My second feature is from Jessica at All She Cooks. She shared the recipe for copycat Olive Garden bread sticks. I LOVE those bread sticks. Sometimes, I think that it would be wonderful to have a meal of nothing but them. I’d be in heaven. I’m going to be in heaven when I make this recipe! (I’m hoping that mine will look as even and as beautiful as these do!
