Just right for our outdoor activities.
Coolish when I was working out in our yard in a search and rescue effort. (Searching for my flowers and rescuing them from the weeds!)
We have 2 acres and 3/4 of it is landscaped. We have lots of trees, shrubs, and flower beds. But! I’m on top of things now and for the rest of the summer I’ll just need to maintain things. (Which I hope I’ll be able to do.)
Which brings me to my first feature. Meinhilde from KiKu Corner shared her planting a flower box idea. This would be a great activity to introduce grandkids to taking care of flowers. The boxes could be small enough so it isn’t overwhelming but big enough to enjoy the flowers.
Isn’t this flower pot gorgeous?
My next feature is from Mindie at The (mis)Adventures of a Born Again Farm Girl. She shares her clever — and inexpensive — ideas for a Minecraft themed birthday party. (We grandmas are ALWAYS on the lookout for birthday ideas!) These are so clever!
Thanks Meinhilde and Mindy for sharing your ideas at our link party. They are terrific!
