Party in Your PJs #113

Party in your PJs is a Tuesday evening link party that starts at 7:00 p.m. (Mountain time) through Sunday night at midnight. Come and join in the fun!July 4, 2016 is now a fond memory.

Parades with floats and marching bands.

Picnics with hamburgers, watermelon, lemonade, and Popsicles.

Fireworks lighting up the night sky. (Did the sound of fireworks going off in your neighborhood keep you awake like it did me?)

I hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July.

Ready to party in your PJs? Great! So am I.

My first feature is a tad different from what I normally highlight. Try It Like It shared this free cow mask. This mask would be great fun for kids to make.

However! What makes this mask great is that Try It Like also shared how Chick-fil-a is sponsoring a Cow Appreciation Day on July 12. Mark this on your calendar. You don’t want to miss it!

Any customer wearing a cow costume will get a free entree. Yup! You read that right! (I even went to Chick-fil-a’s website to make sure they really will give out a free entree and they are!)

You can use this mask as part of your cow costume. For other costume ideas, go to Chick-fil-a’s website and see some of the pictures posted there.

My next feature are these cute neon cards created by Antonella at White House Crafts. These look like they are soooooooo easy to make.

I think that grandkids would have a ball making them. You can talk to your grandkids about sending thank you cards for gifts they receive, get well cards to someone who is sick, or a cheery card to brighten someone’s day. Something in the mail can be much more meaningful than something sent electronically.

These homemade greeting cards are so easy to make that kids will want to make a whole bunch!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas. Don’t forget to grab our “featured on Party in Your PJs Link Party” button and share on your site!

I love the idea of Thank You notes for kids to make and use. If they make them, they’re more likely to use them! That seems to be a dying art these days. Grandmas can help fix it!
