When I was in elementary school, summer break seemed to last forever. The Christmas break was deliciously long.
I never felt time rushing by.
My, how my perspective has changed over the years. All of the tired clichés come to mind: in a blink of an eye; just yesterday; before you know it.
Sad thing, to adults, these clichés are so real. Sigh.
So, time is barreling forward like a speeding train. Here it is. Almost Thanksgiving. Are you ready? If not, I’m sure you’ll be able to find lots of great ideas at our link party.
My first feature is by Mindie at The (mis)Adventures of a Born Again Farm Girl. I love how she has turned her front door into a turkey! I think that is great fun — and wouldn’t the grandkids love doing that to your front door??
My second feature is this fun wineglass lampshade from Wesens-Art. Grandkids could easily do this craft! I also think that you could have a lovely arrangement by having glasses that are different heights. It would be perfect ‘mood’ lighting for your fall evenings.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas. Don’t forget to grab our “featured on Party in Your PJs Link Party” button and share on your site!
