Make a Little Stuffed Bunny

These stuffed Easter bunnies are easy to make.

On Wednesday, I saw a little stuffed bunny that a nine-year-old girl made.

Well! If a little girl can make a bunny, I certainly could!

I decided to make a flock of them to give to my grandchildren for Easter. I hustled and got them made in time for our family party today.

This bunny is so easy to make that you can make one in 15 minutes! Let’s get started, shall we?

Print out the bunny_pattern.

Here are the supplies that you need.

Pin the pattern to the material with the right side of the material facing out. Cut out using pinking shears.

Cut out the fabric.

With the wrong sides together, sew the two pieces together leaving the bottom open for stuffing. Make your seam 1/4 inch from the edge of the material.

Stitch around the sides but not the bottom.

Stuff the bunny. (I used a small dowel stick to help push the stuffing into the bunny’s ears.)

Stitch across the bottom.

Tie a bow around the bunny’s neck and you’re done.

Since these little fellas were going to the grandkids, I stitched by hand through the ribbon where it was tied so that the bow couldn’t come undone. I didn’t want little fingers to be able to untie the bow.

I was very pleased with how they turned out.
