Kids have a difficult time waiting until Christmas comes. That’s why countdowns are so good. Kids know exactly how many days until the big day arrives.
I had an idea of a fun little countdown that your grandkids would enjoy. It’s really easy for grandmothers to make.
And, it’s cheap, too.
It’s a little Frosty the Snowman Countdown. Use my free printable for it.
Your grandchild simply glues a small white pom pom on the snowman each day until Christmas.
You could e-mail this to your grandchildren who live far away– or print it out on card stock and give it to a grandchild that lives nearby. Your grandchildren will all have fun having their own personal Christmas countdown.
Last year, I made a Santa countdown. If you had several grandchildren, you could print out some of both kinds so that your grandchildren could choose which kind they want to use.
The weatherman predicts a snowstorm tomorrow. I was hoping that by making this free printable for you to use would get me mentally ready for the storm.
