On Wednesday, I saw a little stuffed bunny on the site Patchwork Posse. A nine-year-old girl made an armload of those cuties.
Well! If a little girl can make this bunny, I certainly could!
I decided to make a flock of them to give to my grandchildren. I hustled and got them made in time for our family party today.
This bunny is so easy to make that you can make one in 15 minutes! Let’s get started, shall we?
Sew the two pieces together leaving the bottom open for stuffing. Make your seam 1/4 inch from the edge of the material.
Stuff the bunny. (I used a small dowel stick to help push the stuffing into the bunny’s ears.)
Stitch across the bottom.
Tie a bow around the bunny’s neck.
Since these little fellas were going to the grandkids, I stitched by hand through the ribbon where it was tied so that the bow couldn’t come undone. I didn’t want little fingers to be able to untie the bow.
I was very pleased with how they turned out.
Have a happy Easter!
