Make a Little Stuffed Bunny

On Wednesday, These stuffed Easter bunnies are easy to make. Click to find out how.I saw a little stuffed bunny on the site Patchwork Posse. A nine-year-old girl made an armload of those cuties.

Well! If a little girl can make this bunny, I certainly could!

I decided to make a flock of them to give to my grandchildren. I hustled and got them made in time for our family party today.

This bunny is so easy to make that you can make one in 15 minutes! Let’s get started, shall we?

Directions

You can print out the pattern here. (This pattern is 12 inches long which is bigger than I could print out. So, I resized it to a smaller_bunny_pattern.)

Pin the pattern to the material with the right side of the material facing out. Cut out using pinking shears.Stuffed Easter bunny that you can make in 15 minutes!

Sew the two pieces together leaving the bottom open for stuffing. Make your seam 1/4 inch from the edge of the material.Stuffed Easter bunny that you can make in 15 minutes!

Stuff the bunny. (I used a small dowel stick to help push the stuffing into the bunny’s ears.)

Stitch across the bottom.

Tie a bow around the bunny’s neck.

Since these little fellas were going to the grandkids, I stitched by hand through the ribbon where it was tied so that the bow couldn’t come undone. I didn’t want little fingers to be able to untie the bow.

I was very pleased with how they turned out.

(Note: I finished up this post while I watching Gone With the Wind. If there are mis-spelled words or if something doesn’t quite make sense, that’s why!)

Have a happy Easter!
