On Wednesday, I saw a little stuffed bunny that a nine-year-old girl made.
Well! If a little girl can make a bunny, I certainly could!
I decided to make a flock of them to give to my grandchildren for Easter. I hustled and got them made in time for our family party today.
This bunny is so easy to make that you can make one in 15 minutes! Let’s get started, shall we?
Print out the bunny_pattern.
Pin the pattern to the material with the right side of the material facing out. Cut out using pinking shears.
With the wrong sides together, sew the two pieces together leaving the bottom open for stuffing. Make your seam 1/4 inch from the edge of the material.
Stuff the bunny. (I used a small dowel stick to help push the stuffing into the bunny’s ears.)
Stitch across the bottom.
Tie a bow around the bunny’s neck and you’re done.
Since these little fellas were going to the grandkids, I stitched by hand through the ribbon where it was tied so that the bow couldn’t come undone. I didn’t want little fingers to be able to untie the bow.
I was very pleased with how they turned out.

These are adorable, Nina! I’m not all that talented at sewing but I could definitely do this. Thank you so much for sharing your sweet stuffed bunnies with us at Hearth and Soul!
April, yes, these are so simple to make. Just an easy straight stitching! YOUR talents lie in making all of those yummy recipes of yours!!
These are adorable. Just wanted to stop by to let you know that I’m featuring them at this week’s link party. http://www.thelifeofjenniferdawn.com/2017/03/cute-crafts-for-easter-and-weekly-link.html
Jennifer, you’ve made my day! I’m so excited to know that you are featuring them at your link party!
These remind me a bit of the little “boo-boo” bunnies I once made for my kids out of wash cloths. Fun craft! Thanks for sharing with Royally Waiting!

Thank YOU Grammy Dee for dropping by!
Nice to meet you at Wednesday AIM Link Party. Being a relatively new Grandma, I am now on the search for ‘Grandma ideas’. I absolutely love these adorable bunnies. And if a nine-year old girl can make them, I can certainly give them a try!
Hi Donna,
I hope that you’ll be able to find ideas of fun things that you can do with your grandchildren! (Aren’t they wonderful??)
Nina
Oh! So fun! And you just solved our problem of what to do with all these Easter-happy fabric scraps. Thanks! ^_^

Sharlee, your comment is so sweet!! I had lots of fun making the bunnies. And, I enjoyed browsing the other pins at your party. I DO plan on returning to your party next week.

(Your comment was caught in my spam filter. So sorry!!)
I have a 30+ year old Kenmore sewing machine that is still chugging along. Some day I would like to get a Bernina but those are rather pricey!
These are terrific! I would love to make some…but I would have to get my sewing machine repaired or buy a new one. Perhaps you and your readers could suggest a make and model. Thanks for sharing.
