I know it’s already Valentine’s Day.
I know you probably already have your Valentine’s Day planned. You probably already have your treats planned.
But, can you stand one last minute suggestion? One that is easy to make and scrumptious to eat? I sure hope so. I think you need to know how to make this fruit dip.
Easy Easy Fruit Dip
8 ounces strawberry cream cheese (at room temperature)
7 ounce jar marshmallow creme
Using a hand mixer, blend the cream cheese with the marshmallow creme until well blended. That’s it, folks. (I told you it was easy.)
Serve with fruit such as sliced strawberries, bananas, sliced apples, blueberries, fresh pineapple chunks. You could even dip almonds, pretzels, and teddy graham cookies in the dip.
This dip stores well in the fridge (if you have any left).
Our family loves to go Jeeping in Moab, Utah. One of our favorite lunch items when our kids were little was cut up fruit and dip. This is the recipe that I usually used:
Fruit Dip
8 ounces cream cheese
7 ounce jar marshmallow creme
1 tablespoon orange rind or lemon rind
Our family like the lemon rind the most. And sometimes I would squeeze the lemon and put the juice in the dip. Sometimes, when I didn’t have a lemon, I would just use about 1 tablespoon of bottled lemon juice.
Hope you enjoy these dips. Happy Valentines’ Day!
