I a post about paper snowmen luminaries that were as cute as a button. She explained how they take less than 3 minutes to make. That really grabbed my attention.
I eagerly read her directions. When I got to the part ‘use markers to draw a snowman face in the center of the paper,’ I groaned.
If I drew a snowman’s face, it would look like it needed to be rushed to the hospital and be placed on a life support system. My artistic abilities are that spectacular.
However — however, Photoshop and I can be a pretty good team at times. I believe this is one of those times.
I found some snowmen with personality like these . . . .
. . . and created these luminaries.
These will be easy for you to make with the grandkiddos.
Simply print up my paper snowman patterns. Cut around the dotted lines. Tape it to a battery-powered tea light from a dollar store.
And you are done.
These are so easy you could almost make them with one hand tied behind your back!
Place them strategically around your house, turn out the lights, and enjoy!

Fox and geese was a favorite with me, too!
Thanks for your site. Loved the fox and geese game as a child in Ohio. 🙂
