This is a wonderful time of year to give thanks for everything that we have.
I am thankful for such a wonderful, patient, kind, and loving husband who puts up with me. I love him dearly.
I am grateful for our marvelous children who are amazing people. I am so blessed to be their mother and blessed that they are in our family — and I love them dearly, too.
I am so blessed to have delightful grandchildren. My heart is outta-this-world full of love for them. (Pssst. . . we were told that another one is on its way to our family. I’m beyond thrilled!)
I am thankful to all of you, Dear Readers! I love getting to know you, your incredible grandchildren, and all of the amazing things that you do.
I have created printable ‘I am thankful’ pages for you to print up and use on Thanksgiving Day. The first one is a page of fall colored leaves.
Print up copies for all family members. Have them use a black sharpie or pen to write on every leaf something that they are thankful for. Here is the I am thankful leaves printable.
In addition to the fall themed free printable, I created on with hearts. Hearts are synonymous with love and love is connected to things you are thankful for.
Print up the hearts printable and have people write in the hearts what they are thankful. (I used Valentine colors because I liked those colors better than fall colors for the hearts.)
I also made plain printable with just words. That way family members can write (or little kiddos can draw) wherever they want and not be confined to the share of a leaf or a heart.
Here’s another I am thankful plain printable with a different font style and color.
Here is a file with all of the I Am Thankful Thanksgiving free printables.
You could print these, fill out, laminate, and then use as place mats. Your grandkids could fill them out as they are waiting for Thanksgiving dinner to be served.
Or, put them on a wall somewhere so that everybody could fill them out and read them.
Or, you could write a person’s name on the paper and then everybody write something they are grateful about that person.
I hope that this will spark meaningful conversations with your family about all of the things that they have to be grateful for!

Joyce, you are so sweet! I am thankful to ‘know’ you, too. You have enriched my life!
I am thankful for YOU too, Nina! There is always a cute usable idea here. I don’t want my grandkids to grow up 🙂 but when they are old enough to write, these cards are just the latest in projects I’m saving for later.
And finally, I am thankful for the “Orange-Crate Airplanes” book I received yesterday. Your give-aways are always so much fun. The grandkids will love this one! THANK YOU!
