Are Easter activities in full swing at your home?
(They are at mine.)
If so, you’ll want to include making this fuzzy Easter bunny craft with your grandkids!
They are super easy to make and very inexpensive.
Those are two things that rank high on my requirements for crafts with little grandkids!
And, it’s a craft that my grandkids really enjoyed making. I’m sure that yours will, too.
Here are the items that you need:
- Toilet paper tube for every grandchild
- Regular white paper
- Yarn
- Pink felt
- White felt
- Googly eyes
- Large white pop pom
- School glue
- Scissors
First, cut out a piece of regular white paper and glue it on the toilet paper tube. This is so that the brown won’t show through.
Spread school glue on the tube. Start at one end of the tube and wrap the yarn up around it.
Next, cut whiskers (3 per side) out of the white felt. Cut out 2 paws, 2 feet, and 1 round nose from the pink felt. Cut out 2 white ears and 2 pink centers for the ears. Glue them on. Glue on the pom pom for the tail and then the googly eyes, too.
What a fun little bunny craft!
Even though Polly was too young to make any, she still wanted to get into the picture! So of course I was willing to oblige.
Aren’t they the cutest ever? Oh, and the bunnies, too?
I LOVED the feel of the yarn. It was so soft and fuzzy. The grandkids loved it, too. However, I think that next time, I will use regular yarn. The yarn had little mini white pop poms in it. That made it so it was kind of hard to see the facial features. While it worked out okay a plain yarn would make the face show up better.
