Have you noticed my site’s tagline? (A website’s tagline is a brief description of what the site is about, a catchphrase, or a slogan.)
I understand if you haven’t noticed it. Totally.
That’s because it’s rather small. And not very obvious.
So to help you out, I’ll tell you where it is. It’s beneath my site’s logo at the top left-hand side.
See it?
Great!
It states: Strengthen Your Family by Spending Time Together.
That’s what my website is all about. I provide activities that families can do together because by spending time together family relationships are strengthened.
Families have hunkered down in their homes because of COVID-19 and parents are needing activities for their kids.
But! Restrictions aren’t as strict now. Wahoo!
However, with kids out of school (er . . . not doing homework anymore), parents are still looking for things that their kids can do.
Now, I have already written about card games that are fun for families to play together. (Did you catch that? They aren’t just for kids. They are for the whole family.)
But I was thinking the other day. (Yes, I do have a thoughtful moment or two on occasion . . .)
To find those games, readers have to search my site. Those games are not in one handy dandy place.
So!
I created an e-book with 6 card games in it! (Aren’t I nice?)
They are all snug together. In one place.
You don’t have to search. You don’t have to hunt.
They are available at a mere click of a mouse. (Or tap of a finger if you’re on a cell phone or tablet.)
So here it is! Download the e-book now!
May I give you a piece of advice? While it’s fun to keep score, spending time together and having fun is far more important than winning.
Got that?
Great!
I can see it all now. You’ve gathered somewhere cool with your family. (Or maybe you’re where it’s warm. It was rainy/snowy yesterday for us! And it’s JUNE!)
You’re sitting at a table or on the floor. Maybe you’re sipping lemonade. (Or hot chocolate?) You might even have a munchie treat nearby.
I can see the smiles on your faces. Hear your laughter.
And best of all, I know that you’re strengthening your family by spending time together while playing these fun card games!

Thank you, Nina! Soon after you posted directions for “Trash,” I played the game with my 10 year old granddaughter. We had a great time! The game was new to both of us. And, she “legitimately” won, too! (Universal grandma trick was in play here: put up a good fight, but back off at the end! – I didn’t need to do that this time!)
I hear you! I ‘help’ my grandkids win, too. (Isn’t that what grandmas are supposed to do?) I’m so glad that you play some of the games with your grandkids. You’re such an awesome grandma!
